Cirencester Pubs Town Walk
Join us for a walk around the older parts of Cirencester for a look at some of the public houses and Inns of the town. Some are still operating as hostelries whilst others are now private buildings or no longer physically exist. Along the way we will discuss each one and see how they fitted into the wider history of the town providing a fascinating insight of how our town was affected by national events and social change, all through the lens of the public house. The walk typically takes 1.1/4 to 1.5 hours, all walking is on level pavement and occasionally amongst town traffic
Please wear comfortable shoes and bring a raincoat! Meet at the museum.
